A dinner plate that makes whatever you’re eating look immediately more inviting. The rich lapis blue of these FEAST plates is scattered with irregular white dots, giving them the expressive, slightly imperfect character that makes the collection so distinctive.
The generous 26cm size leaves plenty of room for the food to do the talking. Bright greens, roasted tomatoes and golden vegetables look particularly beautiful against the deep blue, but these aren’t plates that need elaborate cooking. A bowl of pasta tipped onto one, a piece of grilled fish with lemon, or even eggs on toast suddenly feels that little bit more pleasurable.
Designed by artist Ivo Bisignano for Ottolenghi and produced by Serax, the FEAST collection was created around the pleasure of gathering, sharing food and filling a table with colour and personality. The different patterns are made to be mixed, so the Lapis plates sit happily amongst the stripes, faces and sunny yellows elsewhere in the collection.
